Sun protection is not just about UV protection you will also need a product that will help keep the skin sufficiently moisturised throughout the day.
If the UV level you’re exposed to is not particularly high, a moisturiser with a minimum SPF 15 protection will be most suitable for you. However, if you are on holiday or exposed to a high UV rays, you will need a higher SPF with at least a minimum SPF 30 protection. You must re-apply the cream every two hours or after you have been in the water to provide a constant barrier to the sun.
If you are being exposed to high UV levels regularly, it is advisable to use an aftersun moisturiser to provide an extra boost of hydration to the skin.
